Mechanical

Designs and builds the physical robots, from the first CAD model to a working machine.

What we do

  • Design in SOLIDWORKS: parts, assemblies, and drawings
  • Validate designs with DFX, FEA, and interference detection
  • Prepare manufacturing files: STL for 3D printing, PDF for laser cutting
  • Build in house: 3D printing (PLA, TPU, polycarbonate) and laser cutting (wood, acrylic)
  • Order parts: BOMs, off-the-shelf components, and custom sheet metal
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot by hand; document best practices
