About us: STAMPEDE

We are STAMPEDE, the University of Texas at Austin’s ARC Robotics team. Designed for performance. Tested for failure. Built for competition.

Our story

Founded in 2021

STAMPEDE was founded in 2021 as part of UT Austin’s IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, with the goal of building a competitive RoboMaster program from the ground up.

In our first RoboMaster North America University League appearance, we placed 4th out of 16 teams. By the 2023–2024 season, the field had grown to more than 25 universities from around the world, and STAMPEDE advanced to a Top 8 finish.

Since then, the team has continued to expand its robot fleet, technical capabilities, and competitive program as ARC Robotics enters its next generation of competition.
